Overview
To compassionately assist individuals with daily living tasks in a home-like environment and give support to the individuals we serve in accordance with an established care plan. Assist the individuals in attaining and maintaining independent living in a safe and clean work environment. Support and promote the rights of the individual.

Responsible For
- Performs a variety of tasks that range from helping an individual to complete his/her individual daily goals which include supervising/facilitating activities inside and outside of the facility. No lifting required.
- Transport and accompany individuals to doctors office, hospital, dentist, or group activity
- Personal Care: Assist with daily living skills hygiene, bathing, dressing, laundry, etc.
- Assist in preparation of meals and assist in eating/feeding if needed.
- Ensure meds are passed with care.
- Ensure proper documentation on the goals and objectives according to their Behavior Plan and any other necessary reports.

Educational Requirements
- High school or equivalent
- CNA (Preferred but not required)
- CPR Certification (Preferred but not required)
- Share vision and core values as outlined by LMS Concepts Inc.
- Ability to use good body mechanics in controlling erratic behavior and participating in physical activities with the individual as part of their program.
- 0-1 years’ experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities preferred but not required.
